AppLock
Price: $
Having something you want to hide from other people is something everyone feels the need for on a daily basis. If other people have access to your smartphone, it would be a good idea to exclude certain apps and/or files from anyone except yourself. Let's see how AppLock deals with this issue.
AppLock is available for free and it serves to protect apps and files on your Android phone from intruders. When you open the app, you are prompted to make a pattern that is used to access protected things on your phone. You should also set up a security mail to use if you forget your passcode.
There are plenty of useful features. Most importantly, you can easily turn on protection for any app you have installed. Some advanced features include preventing app installation and uninstallation to users who don't know your passcode. Locked apps' notifications are also blocked from viewing if you turn on Private Notification.
The Vault is used to store pictures and videos you don't want others to see. There is also a private Safe Browser which can be used to browse the Internet in private. Inside the app, you can manage various profiles in order to suit your needs. You can also use a Time Lock to lock or unlock certain apps at specific times. Arriving at a certain location can also be used to trigger the apps' Location Lock feature.
There is also a premium version but it only disables ads and provides users with paid themes and better customer support. Overall, the app provides all features you’ll probably ever need when it comes to security and we suggest it for anyone looking for safety and privacy.
